Amherst, MA 2021-22 Snowfall

TOTAL (AS OF 3/16): 23"

March - 4.1"

3/12: 0.7" (Another light snow event in the afternoon which produced close to an inch of snow.)
3/9: 3.4" (Afternoon snow sticking to everything which impacted the evening commute. It reached 50 degrees the next day.)
3/3: Trace

February - 6.6"

2/27: Trace
2/25: 6" (Some periods of heavy snow in the morning hours making for a tricky morning commute to work. Also spotty wintry mix towards the tail end of the event. Bulk of snow fell from 3 AM to 12 PM and starting to taper off in the afternoon.)
2/19: 0.2" (Two-part snow squalls passed through: first at 12 PM and the second at 3:30 PM. A Snow Squall Warning was issued for the Pioneer Valley for the second stronger snow squall. Visibility down to 1/8 miles for a brief 5-10 minutes with 40 MPH gusts.)
2/13: 0.2" (Light snow that stopped by 9 AM. Then it became cloudy all afternoon while it snowed all day in Eastern SNE for another 6"+ event.)
2/7: Trace (Some light afternoon snow with wintry mix)
2/4: 0.2" (Rain in the morning changing to freezing rain/sleet & snow in the afternoon)

January - 9.8"

1/29: 3" ("Blizzard of 2022" - Highest impact in coastal regions of Eastern MA where 2 feet of snow fell with verified blizzard conditions. Snow started around midnight and ending by 6-7pm. Temps in the teens throughout the storm. Substantially less snowfall west of Worcester where totals were under most forecasts that were calling for more than 6 inches out here.)
1/24: 1.2"
1/23: Trace
1/16-1/17: 2.4" (Started as snow just before midnight turning to rain by 5 AM morning. Higher elevations impacted the most.)
1/10: Trace (Morning snow showers)
1/7: 3.2" (Snow starting around 2 AM ending by noon. Eastern areas of SNE received around a foot of snow.)

December - 2.5"

12/29: Trace (Rain and snow mix in the morning)
12/24: 1.0" (Morning snow on Christmas Eve)
12/8-12/9: 1.5"
