Another fine one today but it starts getting unsettled this weekend with chances of showers culminating into a soaker from a cold front by the start of next week.

TOMORROW: A slight chance of a shower late otherwise mostly cloudy with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Light winds.
ATLANTIC TROPICS
- Invest 97L is on the verge of becoming Karen. Water vapor shows good structure and is in a favorable environment for strengthening. The Gulf from Louisiana east needs to monitor. Whether it is named or not, the system is expected to move north and merge with a cold front moving across the Easrern U.S. NHC - 80% chance in the next 48 hours.
- UPDATE (8:13 AM): Looks certain that 97L will be upgraded to Karen. Advisories in the next few hours.
