Just wanted to say, with a heavy heart, that this will be the last winter I'll be keeping track of snowfall totals, and this website will be taken down after the season is over. Thank you for the chats and memories over the years, but it's time for me to step away and focus on my personal and professional life. 3/3-3/4: 4.4" (Thundersnow heard Friday night when the snow arrived. Started as snow, then mixed with sleet during the day Saturday.)

2/27-2/28: 7" (Actually outperformed expectations on the higher end of a 4-6" forecast in the valley for a change.)

2/25: 2" (Light fluffy snow accumulating during the afternoon)
2/22-2/23: Trace (Icy morning after sleet and freezing rain overnight.)
2/21: 0.2" (Morning snow with accumulations in grassy surface. Pavement remained wet.)
2/7: Trace (8-10 PM wintry mix)
2/3: Trace (Brutal arctic air moved in Friday night-Saturday morning resulting in wind chill values below 30°F)

1/25: 0.1" (Busted snowfall forecast with too much dry air in place. Forecast was calling for around 1-3" of snow.)
1/23: 1.5" (Rain changing to snow in the morning and lasting until the evening commute)

1/20: Trace (Was expecting at least a coating but the warm air aloft was stronger than expected.)
1/19: Trace (Mix of rain and ice pellets in the afternoon turning to rain in the evening)
1/16: 1.3" (Surprise morning accumulation from a stalled out ocean storm producing snow bands that reached into Western MA. Was not forecasted to get anything overnight!)
1/14: Trace (Snow flurries around noontime. Also a few steadier snow showers dusting the ground in the evening.)
1/12: 0.6" (Snow starting to fall at 6 AM ending by noon and flipping to rain in the evening.)
1/6: Trace (Rain in the morning turning to light snow from 12 PM ending around 3 PM in the afternoon. Not enough to accumulate.)
1/2: Trace
December - 5.6"
12/23: Trace (Light snow and windy in the evening after temps reached into the upper 50s in the morning with rain and then dropping all the way down into the teens by 10 PM. Impressive 40+ degrees temperature swing. Accumulating snowfall in the higher elevations again.)
12/22: Trace (Brief wintry mix around 4 PM. Mostly rain in the Springfield area.)
12/16: Trace (Mainly a snow/rain mix from the morning until early PM. Heaviest snowfall in the eastern slopes of the Berkshires where the higher elevations are.)
12/14: Trace
12/11-12/12: 5.6" (Snowed from 11 AM Sunday to 2 AM Monday. Decent snowfall for interior SNE.)
November - 0.5"
11/17: Trace (Brief lake-effect induced flurries during the afternoon)
11/15: 0.5" (Few hours of wet snow starting at 7 PM, turning to rain overnight)
